Next, I use a slit lamp to examine the front of the eye, looking for signs of inflammation, bleeding, or other abnormalities. Then, I move on to the back of the eye, using a special microscope to look at the retina and optic nerve. Finally, I check the color of the iris and pupil to make sure there are no irregularities.”
3. What makes you stand out from other ophthalmologists?
How to answer: Employers ask this question to learn more about your personality and how you view yourself. They want to know what makes you unique, but they also want to see that you have the skills necessary for the job. When answering this question, think of a skill or trait that you feel is important in an ophthalmologist. Explain why it’s important and give an example of when you used it.
