Try practicing some of these common Acrobats’ job interview questions:
1. When were you most satisfied in your job As Acrobatic Rigger?
How to answer: Interviewers want to hire competent and confident employees. Asking you directly why you’re this question allows you to explain how your skills and experience will benefit the organization with a positive attitude.
Answer: “I’m a people person. I was always happiest and most satisfied when I was interacting with community residents, making sure I was able to meet their needs and giving them the best possible comfort in a tough situation. It was my favorite part of the job, and it showed. Part of the reason I’m interested in this job is that I know I’d have even more interaction with the public, on an even more critical level.”
2. Describe a time where you’ve failed and bounced back?
How to answer: The interviewer wants to hear that you know that you are not perfect and have made mistakes. To answer this question, demonstrate that if you make a mistake, you will take responsibility for it and take the proper steps to correct it. Provide an example of a mistake that you have made in your career and describe the steps that you took to correct the mistake.
Answer: “I accidentally made the mistake of telling a partner I could deliver on a dive on the set at certain corner. Then later found out my partner couldn’t do it on that time. I learned that I shouldn’t rush into important move and acts like this. And that I should always check with my co partner first before committing to an acrobatic movement of work.”
3. What do you think about Teamwork?
How to answer: Respond by referencing a specific example from your past to show you work well in a team environment to achieve results. If you don’t have much work history, use an example from other experience. Don’t trash teamwork or collaboration.
